We’re excited to announce that on January 9th, 2012 we sent emails to all our 2012 Brides Choice Awards (BCA) winners!
Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard over the past year and gathered reviews and accolades from their past clients.
As many of you know, the WeddingWire Bride's Choice Awards™ recognizes the top wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards™ are awarded solely based on the reviews from your past clients and over 1.2 million newlyweds.
Awards are determined by an algorithm derived by the combination of four factors:
Quality - Overall rating of reviews, represents top 5% of wedding pros nationwide
Quantity - Total number of reviews, with a minimum of 3 reviews
Recency - Recent review performance from 2011, with services delivered within the calendar year
Consistency - Consistency of review performance from year to year (trending)
As with most awards and competitions, when the pool of applicants increases, so does the degree of difficulty to win. As we welcome more Wedding Pros to the WeddingWire Network and continue to grow our expansive review database, the criteria to determine our annual Bride's Choice Awards winners evolves to ensure the top wedding professionals are being recognized across the nation. This year's recipients represent the top 5% of WeddingWire's vendor community, across all service categories and all regions throughout the US and Canada.
