You can build your guest list one of two ways: importing Household information from a spreadsheet or by manually adding this information into your account.
Guests - individuals who will be invited to one or more of your wedding-related events. You may have multiple contacts per Household and you must add each individual separately
Household - all contacts you would include on one invitation
Example: Household: Mr. & Mrs. James Smith Guests: James Smith, Jill Smith, Joe Smith
EVENTS You can now customize wedding-related events and compile a separate guest list for each one! In addition to the Ceremony and Reception, you can also create your Bridal/Couples Shower or even your Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties! Each event will even have its own seating chart that coordinates with your guest list.

You can now create a household and add your guests all in one place!
- Log into your WW account - Click ‘My Wedding’ then ‘Guests’ - Click ‘Add New Household’ from the ‘Overview Tab’ - Enter the Household name (i.e. ‘Mr. & Mrs. John Doe) & enter the address - Click ‘Add Household’

You may now keep track of gifts you have received from the many wedding-related events.
- Log into your WeddingWire account - Click ‘My Wedding’ then ‘Guests’ - Select a specific event tab - Click ‘Gifts’ then ‘Add gift’ - Enter the gift description - Select the household who sent the gift - Enter the date the gift was received - Enter when the thank you was sent - Then click ‘Add Gift’

- Log into your WeddingWire account - Click ‘My Wedding’ then click ‘Guests’ - Click the ‘+’ to add a tab and select an event from the list or click ‘create a new event’ - Enter a description of the event - Select whether you’d like to track the meals, track the invitations, and design seating arrangements for this event - Select the list you’d like to invite then click ‘Save’
Q: How do I delete an event?
We allow users to delete unnecessary events; however, at this time, we DO NOT allow users to delete the Ceremony or Reception events.
- Log into your WeddingWire account - Click ‘My Wedding’ then ‘Guests’ - Select the specific event tab you would like to delete - Click ‘More actions’ then click ‘Delete Event’
*Note* Once an event has been deleted, the information cannot be restored!
Q: How do I establish/edit meal selections for an event?
Each event can have meal selections from which your guests can choose.
- Log into your WeddingWire account - Click ‘My Wedding’ then ‘Guests’ - Select a specific event tab - Click ‘Settings’ - In the ‘Meals’ box, delete the meals you will not be offering. You may also add meals to the selection by typing the name of the entrée and clicking ‘Add’ - The meals that appear in the ‘Meals’ box should be the meals from which your guests may select - Click ‘Save’
*NOTE* If you would like your guests to select their meal option when they RSVP, be sure that you have selected 'Track meals for this event' and 'Track invitations for this event'
If you do not see an Invitations link, you will have to edit the event listing by following these steps: - Login to your account - Click on 'My Wedding' - Click on 'Guests' - Choose an Event tab - Click on 'Settings - Select 'Track invitations for this event' - Click Save
